Role: Branding, PackagingDeveloped a playful, community-focused brand identity for Space Tea, incorporating an otter mascot to reflect its welcoming and inclusive mission. Designed branding assets, packaging and engaging social media ads that boosted customer engagement and event attendance.
Branding:The brand direction centered around a playful space theme inspired by the pun 'Otter Space.' I designed a versatile mascot logo that could be used across various assets, incorporating soft, rounded shapes to evoke both the sensation of floating in space and the circular form of tapioca pearls—a key element of bubble tea.
The otter mascot and whimsical branding assets create an inviting, friendly energy that encourages customer interaction and fosters a sense of community around the brand—particularly through social media engagement, themed merchandise, and in-store experiences.

Initial Branding Assets and Illustration Direction
Branding:I designed a set of playful social media ad templates and directions that can used to announce drinks and food products. The templates showcase how core branding elements—like type, color, and illustrations—can be flexibly applied while maintaining a cohesive visual identity. I focused on creating a “floaty” aesthetic inspired by the light, bubbly nature of bubble tea, using dynamic compositions and soft gradients to evoke movement and fun.
Brand Collateral Designs:I created a cohesive set of brand collateral, including menus, cups, stickers, punch cards, and signage. The designs were intentionally kept simple and adaptable to ensure they could be easily replicated by the shop owner, future designers, or even customers. This approach not only supports the brand's longevity but also invites creative participation—encouraging fan art and community-made content. The shop regularly hosts events and collaborates with local schools, so having approachable, easy-to-reproduce visuals helps reinforce its welcoming, community-focused atmosphere.
